MY Story
My name is Mark Rodgers, a landscape photographer based in Tasmania.
I don’t head out with a fixed idea of what I’m going to shoot. I let the landscape lead - shifting weather, stormy skies, heavy seas, fog or long stretches of overcast light. Whatever shows up, I work with it.
Tasmania shapes the way I see. It’s raw, unpredictable, and constantly changing, and that’s where I find the images that matter most to me.
Over time, I’ve moved away from chasing wide, obvious scenes. I’m drawn more to isolating parts of the landscape- details, movement, and quieter moments that often get overlooked.
The work here reflects that approach. It’s not about prefect conditions or postcard views, but about being present and responding to what’s in front of me.
This is Moments Found in the Wild.
